"Dance, Sweat, Repeat," "Groove Your Way to Health," and "Step into Shape,"

I, Priyanka Verma, as a Kathak Dance Teacher in Schiller Institute Senior Secondary School, want to express my words on the topic: How Dance and Exercise Improve Physical Fitness and Mental Health of Students.

To dance means to move the body in a rhythmic fashion. Dancing can be done in time to music, but it does not always need music. Dancing is an art form as well as a beautiful and meaningful activity. Dance can tell a story, express emotion, and carry traditions passed down through many centuries. Dancing with other people is a great way of being social. Sometimes dance expresses emotions that words cannot. No celebration feels complete without dance.

Dancing is also a great workout. Highly trained ballerinas and dancers push the limits of human endeavor. Through regular dance practice, students build stamina, flexibility, coordination, balance, and confidence.

Today, everyone is surrounded by one health issue or another. It is necessary that disease does not enter our body, and for that we should exercise daily. The hard work done to keep our body and mind healthy is called exercise. Exercise is very important for a healthy body. People who do daily exercise are generally healthier and happier. Exercise is essential for physical health as well as mental development.

“Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.”

There is no one particular form of exercise that fits all; it is appropriate to exercise according to the body. The best time to exercise is in the morning. Yoga and sports were considered the only means of exercise since ancient times, but with time, many more forms of exercise have emerged. Exercise is not only for men; special types of exercise are useful for women as well.

Exercise is beneficial for everyone. Exercise done in an open environment and under the supervision of a good instructor is like nectar for a person's body. It supports the mind, intellect, and all body systems, so that a person can live happily for a long time.

Exercise and physical activity are great ways to have fun, be with friends and family, and enjoy the outdoors. Regular exercise and physical activity can have a direct impact on our everyday life. The benefits they provide help us stay strong and fit to perform our daily activities. Exercise increases energy levels and delivers oxygen and nutrients throughout the body, helping us work more efficiently and boost endurance.

Regular exercise is necessary for physical fitness and good health. It reduces the risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer, diabetes, and other diseases. It can improve our appearance and delay the aging process. Regular physical activity also helps us sleep better. When we are active during the day, we fall asleep more easily and stay asleep longer.

“When you dance, you can enjoy the luxury of being you.”

Exercise for the mind and physical exercise are both good for mind, body, and soul. Our fabulous school Christmas carnivals provide a high-energy environment that acts as a physical workout through walking, games, and dancing. These activities release endorphins that boost mood, reduce stress, and promote mental relaxation. This surge in happy hormones like dopamine and serotonin combats fatigue and improves mental well-being.

With best wishes,
